Positive resolution regarding Sandberget 500

Danderyd September 26, 2019

The Administrative Court of Appeal in Sundsvall (Kammarrätten i Sundsvall) on September 24, 2019 decided in favour of Copperstone Resources, rejecting an appeal against Coppertone’s Sandberget 500 permit. The Mining Inspector’s decision of February 2019, and the Administrative Court’s in Luleå verdict from August 2019 thereof, consequently stand.

The Administrative Court of Appeal will not leave to appeal (ger inte prövningstillstånd). The resolution can only be appealed to the Supreme Administrative Court of Sweden in Stockholm.

All exploration permits with regard to the Copperstone project (Sandberget 200, 300, 400 and 500) are valid and valid up and until year 2022.

“We are happy to see the swift handling of this case by the authorities. We can now focus fully on the ongoing drilling at Viscaria, where Kati Oy is already at hole three, while we are awaiting assay results for VDD0201 and VDD0202.”
