Tvistbo (Zn)

In Tvistbo, people have been mining ore on and off since the 1700s. Since Copperstone was granted an exploration permit, the area has been investigated through 38 core drillholes.

Between 1961 and 1978, various companies examined the resources around Tvistbo, focusing on iron ore and sulfide ore containing zinc and lead. After Copperstone’s drillings, an independent consultant analyzed the core samples, which revealed that the rock contains small occurrences of zinc, lead, and silver down to a depth of 180 meters.

In the annual report for 2022, we provide more information about the investigations in Tvistbo.
