Jörgen Olsson, President and CEO

Education and professional experience: Jörgen Olsson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Luleå University. Jörgen has an extensive track record when it comes to building corporate culture, financing and profitable growth, for example as former chairman and CEO of Hoist Finance, which has approximately 1,700 employees.

Anna Tyni, CEO Copperstone Viscaria

Education and work experience:  Anna Tyni is a mechanical engineer from Luleå University of Technology, with a focus on construction. She has over 20 years of experience from leading positions at LKAB in Kiruna, including Operations Manager and responsible for the start-up of the Leveäniemi mine, Production Manager Operations (LKAB’s concentrator) and Production Manager at LKAB Berg och Betong and LKAB Minerals. Before joining Copperstone, Anna worked as a market area manager and business manager for the mining division at BDX Företagen in Kiruna.

Anders Lundkvist, Head of Sustainability

Education and professional experience: Anders is a highly experienced mining environment specialist. He has been Director of Environment and Energy at the Swedish Mining Association (SveMin), as well as Environmental Manager and Head of Energy and Climate at LKAB. During his career, Anders has accumulated extensive knowledge in issues related to environmental permits, land use, contracts with stakeholders’ rehabilitation of mine sites, ecological compensation, as well as energy and climate-related issues. Anders also has great local knowledge and personal commitment to nature and the environment around Kiruna.

Frida Keskitalo, CFO

Education and professional experience: Frida was born in 1979 and holds an MBA from Umeå School of Business, Economics and Law. She started her career at LKAB in Kiruna in 2005 and has since held a number of roles at LKAB, including several in leading positions. She has, among other things, worked as an accountant, financial statement manager for LKAB Parent Company and business controller in the unit “Sales & Logistics”. She most recently comes from a role as Section Manager Operations and Maintenance at LKAB Malmtrafik AB Terminal.

Glenn Nilsson, Mine Manager

Education and professional experience: Glenn Nilsson has over 30 years of mining experience with leading positions from, among others, Boliden (Aitik and Kevitsa) and most recently as mining manager for Kaunis Iron AB. Glenn was Production Manager / acting Mining Manager in Boliden Aitik for more than 10 years. Prior to that, Glenn worked in LKAB contracting, Vattenfall with tunnel work, road and rock projects. As a resident in Malmfälten, he also has extensive local knowledge and a significant network in and outside the mining industry.

Michael Mattsson, Head of Business Development

Education and professional experience: Michael Mattsson, from Haparanda, Norrbotten, holds a MSc from Stockholm School of Economics. Michael has substantial experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), IPO, Rights- issues and Fund management from Enskilda Securities, Blackstone (New York) and Kaupthing.

Emma Mäkitaavola, Project manager

Education and professional experience: Emma holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the Institute of Technology at Linköping University. Previously, she worked as a manager at Ericsson in Sweden and China, after which she moved to Norrbotten. For the past 10 years, she has worked in the mining industry, both in production, as maintenance manager for a concentrator and as an entrepreneur in various roles and industries. Most recently, Emma comes from the role as business area manager for one of Norrbotten’s largest mechanical and welding companies.

Karin Lindgren, Head of Geology

Education and professional experience: Karin has a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Natural Resource Engineering from Luleå University of Technology. Karin has extensive experience in exploration from several roles during about ten years at the mining company LKAB, most recently as section manager for the exploration department.
